Overview

Infrastructure & Security, in practice

From structured cabling and switching through to firewalls, access control and backups, we design and run the infrastructure layer — with the same team accountable for the network and for the systems that depend on it.

  • Cabling and racks documented, labelled and testable
  • Firewall, access and patching policy written down, not improvised
  • Backups verified by restore tests, not just green ticks
  • A single escalation path when something breaks

Questions

Before you ask

Anything not covered here, call and ask. You will reach someone who works on Infrastructure & Security — not a call centre.

Do you do the physical cabling as well?

Yes. Structured cabling, racks, switching and testing are done by our own engineers, which is why the network side and the systems side never end up blaming each other.

How do you handle backups?

Backups run on a defined schedule with off-site copies, and we test restores periodically. A backup nobody has ever restored from is not a backup.

Can you audit our current security posture?

Yes. We review access control, patching, backups, network segmentation and endpoint protection, then give you a prioritised findings list before recommending any spend.
